AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis
County, Missouri, to be know as Subdistrict No. 246 (Springdale
and Ballas) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of
the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or
drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved
at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be
known as Subdistrict No. 246 (Springdale and Ballas).
Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 246
(Springdale and Ballas) shall be as follows:

SPRINGDALE & BALLAS
Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the
centerline of Ballas Road (60 feet wide) with the eastern
prolongation of a line parallel with and 150 feet south of the
south line of property now or formerly owned by Anna S. Dean as
recorded in Deed Book 3997, page 224 of the St. Louis County
Records; thence westwardly along said prolongation and along said
parallel line to its intersection with the southern prolongation
of the west line of said Dean property; thence northwardly along
said prolongation to the southwest corner of said property, said
point also being the southeast corner of said property, said point
also being the southeast corner of property now or formerly owned
by Charles J. & Jane E. M. Kippenhan as recorded in Deed Book
2761, page 106 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly
along the east line of said Kippenhan property to its intersection
with a line parallel with and 380 feet south of the centerline of
Springdale Road, a private road 20 feet wide; thence westwardly
along said parallel line to its intersection with a line parallel
with and 750 feet west of the centerline of said Ballas Road;
thence northwardly along the last mentioned parallel line, which
is also a part of the existing boundary line of the Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District, to the centerline of said Springdale
Road; thence eastwardly along the centerline of said road to the
southwest corner of property now or formerly owned by Lena Funke
as recorded in Deed Book 4720, page 110 of the St. Louis County

Records; thence northwardly and eastwardly along the west and
north lines of said Funke property to the northeast corner of said
Funke property; thence northwardly along a line parallel with
centerline of said Ballas Road to the north line of property now
or formerly owned by Reynold F. and Bertha Hieber as recorded in
Deed Book 2192, page 48 of the St. Louis County Records; thence
eastwardly along the north line of said Hieber property and its
prolongation eastwardly to the centerline of said Ballas Road;
thence southwardly along the centerline of said Ballas Road to the
point of beginning.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 8, 1965.
