O R D I N A N C E NO. 1318
AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis
County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 260 (New York and
Shelby) of Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District.
BE IT ORDAINED BY BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF METROPOLITAN ST.
LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of
the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or
drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved
at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be
known as Subdistrict No. 260 (New York and Shelby).
Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 260 (New
York and Shelby) shall be as follows:

NEW YORK AND SHELBY
Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the
centerline of New York Street, with the southern prolongation of
the west line of Lot 41 in Block 1 of Meacham Park as recorded in
Plat Book 3, page 33 of the St. Louis County Records; thence
northwardly along said prolongation and along the west line of
said Lot 41 to the northwest corner thereof; thence eastwardly
along the north line of said Lot 41 to the northeast corner
thereof, said point also being the southwest corner of Lot 7 in
said Block 1 of Meacham Park; thence northwardly along the west
line of said Lot 7 and its prolongation northwardly to the
centerline of Big Bend Boulevard; thence eastwardly along the
centerline of Big Bend Boulevard to the centerline of Attucks
Street; thence eastwardly along the centerline of Attucks Street
to its intersection with the northern prolongation of the east
line of Lot 25 in Block 12 of said Meacham Park; thence
southwardly along said prolongation and along the east line of
Lots 25 and 30 in said Block 12 and continuing along the southern
prolongation of said east line to the centerline of New York
Street; thence westwardly along the centerline of said New York
Street to its intersection with the northern prolongation of the
east line of Lot 24 in Block 13 of said Meacham Park; thence
southwardly along said prolongation and along the east line of
said Lot 24 to its southeast corner thereof, said point also being
the northwest corner of Lot 30 in said Block 13; thence eastwardly

and southwardly along the north and east lines of said Lot 3 and
the southern prolongation of the east line of said Lot 30 to the
centerline of Meacham Street; thence westwardly along the
centerline of Meacham Street to its intersection with the northern
prolongation of the east line of Lot 14 in Block 14 of said
Meacham Park; thence southwardly along said prolongation and along
the east line of said Lot 14 to the southeast corner thereof;
thence westwardly long the south line of Lots 14, 13, 12, 11, 10,
9, 8,7, 6, 5 and 4 in said Block 14 t the southwest corner of said
Lot 4; thence northwardly along the west line of said Lot 4 and
its prolongation northwardly to the centerline of Meacham Street;
thence westwardly along the centerline of said Meacham Street to
its intersection with the northern prolongation of the east line
of Lot 27 in Block 3 of said Meacham Park; thence southwardly
along said prolongation and along the east line of said Lot 27 to
the southeast corner thereof; thence westwardly along the south
line of Lots 27, 26, 25, 24, 23, 22, 21, 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15,
14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9 and 4 in said Block 3 and continuing along
the western prolongation of the south line of Lot 4 to the
centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard; thence northwardly along the
centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard to the centerline of Meacham
Street; thence eastwardly along the centerline of Meacham Street
to its intersection with the southern prolongation of the east
line of Lot 46 in Block 2 of said Meacham Park; thence northwardly
along said prolongation and along the east line of Lots 46 and 11

in said Block 2 and continuing along the northern prolongation of
the east line of Lot 11 to the centerline of New York Street;
thence westwardly along the centerline of New York Street to the
point of beginning.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 22, 1965.
