AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The
Metropolitan St Louis Sewer District to include an area of St.
Louis County which could be efficiently served by the sewer or
drainage facilities of the District.
WHEREAS, petitions to the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District have been received from the
owners of the land in said area who own all of the land area
therein praying for annexation to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District, the Mississippi River Subdistrict, and the Creve Coeur-
Frontenac Trunk Subdistrict; and
WHEREAS, this area adjoins The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District, the Mississippi River Subdistrict and the Creve
Coeur-Frontenac Subdistrict and can drain all of its sanitary
sewage into existing sewers within the District and such
Subdistricts, that the interests of sanitation and public health
of the District will be promoted by including the area in its
territory; and that the sewage flow from the area proposed to be
annexed has no available outlet through public sanitary sewers
other than those of the District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. That the Board finds that the sewer
facilities of the District can efficiently serve the area
described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the existing boundary of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, which point lies South 00
degrees 08 minutes West, 195.60 feet from the south line of Olive
Street Road 60 feet wide; thence continuing South 00 degrees 08
minutes West along said existing boundary of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District a distance of 709.27 feet to a point; thence
North 89 degrees 52 minutes West a distance of 632.94 feet to a
point; thence North 07 degrees 44 minutes East a distance of
1023.00 feet to its intersection with the south line of said Olive
Street Road; thence eastwardly along said south line of Olive
Street Road to its intersection with the east line of Country
Manor Lane 50 feet wide; thence southwardly, along said east line
of Country Manor Lane a distance of 191.66 feet to a point; thence
South 77 degrees 30 minutes East a distance of 259.48 feet to the
point of beginning, which is a point on the existing boundary of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District.
Section Two. That the petitions praying for annexation
were signed by all of the owners of the land in said area who own
all of the land area of the area to be served.
Section Three That the interests of sanitation and
public health of the District will be promoted by including the
area in its territory.
Section Four. That the sewage flow from the area
proposed to be annexed has no available outlet through public
sanitary sewers other than those of the District.
Section Five. The corporate boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and of the Mississippi River
Subdistrict and of the Creve Coeur-Frontenac Trunk subdistrict are
hereby extended so as to include the above described area.
Section Six. Certified copies of this Ordinance shall
be filed in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis
County, the Recorder of Deeds of the City of St. Louis, and the
Secretary of State.
