HomeMy Public PortalAbout01328 O R D I N A N C E NO. 1328 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 261 (Orchard and Old St. Charles) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT. Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No 261 (Orchard and Old St. Charles). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 261 (Orchard and Old St. Charles) shall be as follows. ORCHARD AND OLD ST. CHARLES Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the centerline of Old St. Charles Road with the centerline of Orchard Avenue; thence southwestwardly along the centerline of said Orchard Avenue to its intersection with the southeastern prolongation of the southwest line of lot 18 in Block 9 of Berkeley Garden Homesites as recorded in Plat Book 18, page, 46 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwestwardly along said prolongation and along the southwest lines of lots 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12 and 11 in said Block 9 to the westernmost corner of said lot 11; thence northwestwardly along a line parallel with the centerline of Old St. Charles Road a distance of 225 feet to a point; thence northeastwardly along a line, at right angles to said parallel line, to the centerline of said Old St. Charles Road; thence southeastwardly along the centerline of Old St. Charles Road to the point of beginning. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 10, 1965.
