AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Gampco
Incorporated Contractors and Engineers for the construction of an
interceptor sewer west of the Mississippi River and north of the
Veterans Hospital in an unincorporated area in St. Louis County,
Missouri, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Gampco Incorporated Contractors and
Engineers, as the lowest responsible bidder, for the construction
of an interceptor sewer west of the Mississippi River and north of
the Veterans Hospital in an unincorporated area in St. Louis
County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 30th
day of July, 1965, and formally executed on the 5th day of August,
1965, by said contractor and by the Executive Director on behalf
of the District, in the following form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for sewer construction and the sewer to be
constructed being necessary for the protection of the public
health, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan,
and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 6, 1965.
