SPECIAL TWEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MEDINA
JULY 18,1961
Members present Gertz, Arens, Winterhalter, Scott and Roehl.
Report from engineer Carter regarding the preparation of the
road prior to blacktopping.
Specification to be considered l inch of Asphalt
About 1 mile of road with 17 to 1$ font widths.
Excuvation about 20 percent, gravel base, 25 percent and
Blacktop mixture 55 percent of total cost of project.
Arens suggested getting an attorneys opion on the legality
of assement to the property owners for grading of the existing
streets.
Woody Harrier volunteered to secmure the names of the property
owners of the lots adjacent to the streets to be surfaced.
Leo Leuer reported that 432135.50 had been spent to date
on improving of the roads.
Motion by Winterhatter to adjourn, second by Arens, igotion
carried.
