AN ORDINANCE appropriating Three Hundred Seventy
Thousand Dollars ($370,000.00) from the Construction Fund of the
Mississippi River Subdistrict to be used for the construction of
an outfall sewer to be used by the Mississippi River Subdistrict
and Subdistrict No. 89 (Loretta-Joplin).
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Seventy Thousand
Dollars ($370,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Construction
Fund of the Mississippi River Subdistrict to be used for the
construction of an outfall sewer 96 inches in diameter, to be used
by the Mississippi River Subdistrict and Subdistrict No. 89
(Loretta-Joplin), beginning near the intersection of Arlee and
Adair Streets and extending 1900 feet in a generally southeastward
direction to its point of discharge in the Mississippi River.
Section Two. The sum appropriated in Section One shall
constitute the cash deposit referred to in the contract for con-
struction of improvements in Subdistrict No. 89 (Loretta-Joplin).
Section Three. This ordinance being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 15, 1965.
