HomeMy Public PortalAbout01394 AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1816 O R D I N A N C E NO. 1394 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 263 (Buckley and Sappington Barracks) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 263 (Buckley and Sappington Barracks). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 263 (Buckley and Sappington Barracks) shall be as follows: 2 BUCKLEY AND SAPPINGTON BARRACKS Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the centerline of Sappington Barracks Road with the centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard; thence northwestwardly along the centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard to its intersection with the southwestern prolongation of the southeastern line of property now or formerly owned by Samuel LaRole and Marie LaRole, his wife, as recorded in Deed Book 1952, Page 141 of the St. Louis County Recorder's Office; thence northeastwardly along said prolongation and along said southeastern line to the easternmost corner of said LaRole property; thence northwestwardly along the northeastern line of said LaRole property to its intersection with the northwestern line of property now or formerly owned by Elmer C. Adams and Bettie Adams, his wife, as recorded in Deed Book 1839, Page 24 of said Recorder's Office; thence northeastwardly along the northwestern line of said Adams property and its prolongation northeastwardly to its intersection with the centerline of Adworth Drive; thence southeastwardly along the centerline of Adworth Drive to its intersection with the southwestern prolongation of a line 250 feet northwestwardly of and parallel with the southeastern line of property now or formerly owned by Gus C. Schumann and Ann Schumann, his wife, as recorded in Deed Book 1829, Page 168 of said Recorder's Office; thence northeastwardly along said prolongation and along said parallel line to its 3 intersection with the northeastern line of said Schumann property, said line also being the southwestern line of Poplar Court (An Amended Plat of Lots 7 thru 24 - Block 2), a subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 69, Page 32 of said Recorder's Office; thence southeastwardly along said southwestern line to the southernmost corner of Lot 21 in Block 2 of said subdivision; thence northeastwardly along the southeast line of Lot 21 to the easternmost corner thereof; (thence northeastwardly across Druso Drive to the westernmost corner of Lot 16, Block 1 of Poplar Court, a subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 66, Page 2 of said Recorder's Office; thence northeastwardly along the northwestern line of said Lot 16 to the northernmost corner thereof; thence southeastwardly along the northeastern line of Lots 16, 17, and 18 of said Poplar Court Subdivision, and the southeastward prolongation thereof to the centerline of Berview Lane; thence northeastwardly along the center line of Berview Lane to its intersection with the westwardly prolongation of the northern line of property now or formerly owned by A. L. Emmenegger and Hanna Emmenegger, his wife, as recorded in Deed Book 2756, Page 93 of said Recorder's Office; thence eastwardly along said prolongation and along said northern line to the easternmost corner of said Emmenegger property, said corner being in the northwestern line of property now or formerly owned by Adolph Schwenger and Emma Schwenger, his wife, as recorded in Deed Book 3511, Page 466 of said Recorder's Office; thence northeastwardly along said 4 northwestern line to the northwestern corner thereof; thence southeastwardly along the northeastern line of said Schwenger property to the northeastern corner thereof; thence southwestwardly along the southeastern line of said Schwenger property, and its prolongation southwestwardly to its intersection with the centerline of Victory Drive; thence southwestwardly along the centerline of Victory Drive to its intersection with the northeastern prolongation of the northwestern line of Southmont, a subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 79, Page 36 of said Recorder's Office; thence southwestwardly along said prolongation and along said northwestern line to the westernmost corner of said subdivision; thence southeastwardly along the southwestern line of said subdivision to the southernmost corner of said subdivision; thence northeastwardly along the southeastern line of said subdivision to its intersection with the southwestern line of property now or formerly owned by Fred J. Langhorst, as recorded in Deed Book 1608, Page 386 of said Recorder's Office; thence southeastwardly along said southwestern line and its prolongation southeastwardly to its intersection with the centerline of Buckley Road, (40 feet wide); thence southwardly along the centerline of Buckley Road to its intersection with the northwestern prolongation of the southern line of El Ray Court, a subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 102, Page 31 of said Recorder's Office; thence southeastwardly along said prolongation and along said southern line said subdivision to its intersection with a line 170 5 feet eastwardly of, and parallel to, the centerline of Buckley Road, (measured at right angles thereto); thence southwestwardly along said parallel line to its intersection with a line, said line being at right angles to the centerline of Buckley Road and 550 feet southwestwardly of the southwestern corner of said El Ray Court Subdivision, as measured along the southeastern line of Buckley Road; thence northwestwardly along the last described line to its intersection with the centerline of Buckley Road; thence southwestwardly along the centerline of Buckley Road, 400 feet to a point; thence southeastwardly along a line at right angles to the centerline of Buckley Road, to its intersection with a line 170 feet eastwardly of and parallel to the centerline of Buckley Road; thence southwestwardly along said parallel line to its intersection with the centerline of Sappington Barracks Road; thence along the centerline of Sappington Barracks Road in a generally southwestern direction to its intersection with the centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard, the point of beginning. 6 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 5, 1965
