AN ORDINANCE appropriating One Hundred Twenty-five
Thousand Dollars ($125,000.00) from the Improvement Fund, Russell
and Company Account, to be used to settle all outstanding claims
against the former private sewer company known as Russell and
Company.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OP TRUSTEES OP THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Twenty-five
Thousand Dollars ($125,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Improvement Fund, Russell and Company Account, to be used to
settle all outstanding claims against the former private sewer
company known as Russell and Company, including all claims for
taxes, court costs, auditing and attorney fees, and all other
necessary incidental expenses.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted October 18, 1965.
