AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis
County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 278 (Bryan
Avenue) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of
the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or
drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved
at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be
known as Subdistrict No. 278 (Bryan Avenue).
Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 278
(Bryan Avenue) shall be as follows:
BRYAN AVENUE
Beginning at the point of intersection of the centerline of Bryan
Avenue as recorded in Deed Book 749, page 139 of the St. Louis
County Record, with the eastern prolongation of the south line of
property now or formerly owned by Thomas Joseph and Eleanor Bessie
Gallagher as recorded in Deed Book 2285, page 306 of the St. Louis
County Records; thence westwardly along said eastern prolongation
and the south line of said Gallagher property to the southwest
corner thereof; thence northwardly along the western line of said
Gallagher property to the northwest corner thereof; thence
northwardly along a line parallel with the centerline of said
Bryan Avenue, to the north line of property now or formerly owned
by William H. and Myrtle R. Tonn as recorded in Deed Book 4657,
page 316 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along
the north line of said Tonn property and the eastwardly
prolongation thereof to the centerline of said Bryan Avenue;
thence southwardly along the centerline of said Bryan Avenue to
the point of beginning.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 18, 1965.
