HomeMy Public PortalAbout01423 O R D I N A N C E NO. 1423 AN ORDINANCE vacating an easement for treatment facilities and an easement for sewer purposes in the City of Florissant, St. Louis County, Missouri. WHEREAS, the Owner of the subject property has requested this District to vacate such easements, and this District has no further need for such easements, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The following described easement for treatment facilities and easement for sewer purposes are hereby vacated, to wit: 1.The aforesaid easement for treatment facilities is described as that easement granted to Thomas C. Shaw by Joseph H. Meyer and Frances Meyer, his wife, by instrument recorded in Book 3656 page 95 of the St. Louis County Records, and being further described as a tract of land containing one acre more or less in U.S. Surveys 183 and 184 of the Commonfields of St. Ferdinands being all of that portion of a 42.31 acres tract of land in the name of Joseph H. Meyer and Frances Meyer, his wife, which lies East of the now existing Coldwater Creek Drainage Ditch, and extends to the former center line of the Coldwater Creek. 2.The aforesaid easement for sewer purposes is described as that easement granted to Paddock Sewer Corporation by Lula Siegler and Arthur H. Weseloh and Nelda Weseloh, his wife, by instrument dated October 2, 1956 and recorded in Book 3675 page 553 of the St. Louis County Records, and being further described as a 25 foot wide strip of land located in Lot 5 of the Francis G. Aubuchon Estate, Township 47N, Range 6E, recorded in Surveyor's Record 4, page 1, of the St. Louis County records, said 25 foot wide strip being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at an old stone, which is the northeast corner of Lot 19; thence along the north line of Lot 19 and along a bearing of south 89 degrees, 30 minutes west, a distance of 1626.81 feet to a point which is the point of beginning proper; thence continuing along the north line of Lot 19 and a bearing of south 89 degrees, 30 minutes west, a distance of 27.11 feet to a point; thence along a bearing of north 23 degrees, 15 minutes west, a distance of 81.66 feet to a point, said point being the corner of Herman H. Meyer property; thence along a bearing of north 24 degrees, 0 minutes east and along the Herman H. Meyer property line, a distance of 34.05 feet to a point; thence along a bearing of south 23 degrees, 15 minutes east, a distance of 115.25 feet to a point, said point being the point of beginning proper.
