AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of a sewer
easement including the portion of sewer therein, in the City of
St. Louis, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the City of St. Louis, by Ordinance No. 44,223
vacated the east-west alley in City Block 5877, bounded by Bates
Street, Gravois Avenue, Wanda Avenue, City Block 5878 and St.
Matthew's Cemetery reserving, however, an easement for sewer
purposes therein; and
WHEREAS, the owner of such property has requested this
District to abandon the eastern 80 feet of such east-west alley,
including the portion of sewer lying therein, which sewer and
easement are no longer needed by the District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. That sewer easement reserved by the City
of St. Louis by Ordinance No. 44,223 over the area of the eastern
80 feet of the former east-west alley in City Block 5877, together
with the portion of sewer lying therein, is hereby vacated.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 9, 1965.
