AN ORDINANCE, amending Section Two of Ordinance No. 1258,
adopted January 20, 1965, and revising the boundaries of
Subdistrict No. 240 (Stephanie and Ballas) of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METRO-
POLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Ordinance No. 1258, adopted January 20,
1965, is hereby amended by eliminating from the boundaries of
Subdistrict No. 240 (Stephanie and Ballas), as set forth in Section
Two thereof, an area described as follows:
Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection
of the eastern prolongation of the north line of Lot 13 of Studt's
Heights No. 2 as recorded in Plat Book 15, page 65 of the St. Louis
County Records, with the centerline of an alley (16 feet wide);
thence northwardly along the centerline of said alley to its
intersection with the western prolongation of the northern line of
property now or formerly owned by Amelia and Lester Studt as
recorded in Deed Book 2561, pages 389 and 390 of the St. Louis
County Records; thence eastwardly along said prolongation to the
northwest corner of said Studt property; thence southwardly along
the west line of said Studt property to its intersection with the
aforementioned eastern prolongation of the north line of Lot 13;
thence westwardly along said prolongation to the centerline of said
alley, the point of beginning, for the reason that the Board of
Trustees finds that such property would not be benefited by the
proposed sewer facilities to be constructed in such subdistrict.
Section Two. Section Two of said Ordinance No. 1258 as
hereby amended, shall read as follows:
"Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 240
shall be as follows:

Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the
centerline of Ham Avenue (16 feet wide) with the western
prolongation of the north line of property now or formerly owned by
Rudolph F. and Helen W. Meyer as recorded in Deed Book 1971, page
109 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along said
prolongation and along said north line of said Meyer property to
the northeast corner thereof; thence southwardly along the east
line of said Meyer property and along the southern prolongation of
said east line to the centerline of Studt Avenue (30 feet wide);
thence westwardly along the centerline of said Studt Avenue to the
centerline of an alley (14 feet wide) running north and south from
Studt Avenue to Old Ballas Road; thence southwardly along the
centerline of said alley to the centerline of Old Ballas Road;
thence westwardly along said centerline of Old Ballas Road to its
intersection with the northern prolongation of an east line of
property now or formerly owned by Roy E. Dreckshage and wife as
recorded in Deed Book 2669, page 2 of the St. Louis County Records,
said east line being 352.60 feet west of the west line of Sarah
Avenue; thence southwardly along said prolongation and along said
east line of Dreckshage property to its intersection with a line
parallel with and 200 feet south of the south line of Old Ballas
Road (30 feet wide); thence westwardly along said parallel line and
its prolongation westwardly to the centerline of Ballas Road (60
feet wide); thence northwardly along said centerline to its
intersection with the western prolongation of the northern line of
property now or formerly owned by Henry M. and A. Gagliard as
recorded in Deed Book 4784, page 263 of the St. Louis County
Records; thence eastwardly along said prolongation and along the
northern line of said Gagliard property which is also the southern
line of property, now or formerly owned by Clarence L. Clark as
recorded by Daily Number 254 on July 8, 1964 as recorded in St.
Louis County Records, to the southeast corner of said Clark
property; thence northwardly along the east line of said Clark
property and its prolongation northwardly to its intersection with
the centerline of Old Ballas Road (30 feet wide); thence westwardly
along said centerline of Old Ballas Road to its intersection with
the centerline of Ballas Road (60 feet wide); thence northwardly
along said centerline of Ballas Road to its intersection with the
western prolongation of the north line of property now or formerly
owned by Julius Niedringhaus and wife as recorded in Deed Book 325,
page 203 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along
said prolongation and along the north line of said Niedringhaus
property to the southeast corner of property now or formerly owned
by the Studt Lane Investment Company as recorded in Deed Book 5163,
Page 17 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along
the east line of said Investment Company property and along the

northern prolongation of said east line to the centerline of Studt
Avenue (30 feet wide); thence eastwardly along said centerline of
Studt Avenue to its intersection with the centerline of Will Avenue
(40 feet wide); thence northwardly along said centerline of Will
Avenue to its intersection with the western prolongation of the
north line of Lot 13 of Studt's Heights No. 2. according to the
plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 15, page 65 of the St. Louis
County Records; thence eastwardly along said prolongation and along
the north line of said Lot 13 and its prolongation eastwardly to
the west line of property now or formerly owned by Amelia and
Lester Studt as recorded in Deed Book 2561, pages 389 and 390 of
the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along the west
line of said Studt property to the northwest corner thereof; thence
eastwardly along the north line of said property to the northeast
corner of said Studt property; thence southwardly along the east
line of said Studt property to its intersection with the north line
of property now or formerly owned by Roscoe and Geneva Stephens as
recorded in Deed Book 3313, page 332 of the St. Louis County
Records; thence eastwardly along said north line and its eastwardly
prolongation to the centerline of Ham Avenue (16 feet wide); thence
northwardly along said centerline to the point of beginning.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 13, 1966.
