AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Gampco
Incorporated Contractors & Engineers, for the construction of
sanitary trunk sewers in Subdistrict No. 227 (Gravois-Sappington
Trunk) with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Gampco Incorporated Contractors & Engineers,
as the lowest responsible bidder, for the construction of sanitary
trunk sewers in Subdistrict No. 227 (Gravois-Sappington Trunk) of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids
received and opened on the 9th day of December, 1965 and formally
executed on the 20th day of December, 1965 by said contractor and
by the Executive Director and the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of
the District, in the following form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for sewer construction and the sewers to be
constructed being necessary for the protection of the public
health, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan,
and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon
its adoption. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 13, 1966.
