AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to include an area of St.
Louis County which could be efficiently served by the sewer and
drainage facilities of the District.
WHEREAS, petitions to the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District have been received from the
majority of the owners of the land in said area who own more than
one-half of the land area therein praying for annexation to The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, the Mississippi River
Subdistrict and the Gravois Creek Trunk Subdistrict; and
WHEREAS, this area adjoins the Mississippi River
Subdistrict and the Gravois Creek Trunk Subdistrict and The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and the existing sewers of
the District and Subdistricts are adequate to handle all of its
sanitary sewage, that the interests of sanitation and public
health of the District will be promoted by including the area in
its territory; and that the sewage flow from the area proposed to
be annexed has no available outlet through public sanitary sewers
other than those of the District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. That the Board finds that the sewer
facilities of the District can efficiently serve the area
described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the center line of East Concord Road,
which point is 740.85 feet west of the intersection of said
centerline and the centerline of Von Talge Road, which point
is also a point in the existing boundary of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District; thence North 00 degrees 15 minutes
East along the existing boundary of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District a distance of 1182.77 feet to a point;
thence North 88 degrees 49 minutes West along the existing
boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, to the
point of intersection of the east line of Concord Oaks, a
subdivision of St. Louis County, Missouri, according to the
plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 108 page 48 of the St.
Louis County Records, and the south line of Concord Square, a
subdivision of St. Louis County, Missouri, according to the
plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 77 page 50 of the St.
Louis County Records; thence southwardly, along the said east
line of Concord Oaks Subdivision and its southerly
prolongation, to its intersection with the aforesaid
centerline of East Concord Road; thence eastwardly along the
said centerline of East Concord Road, to the point of
beginning.
Section Two. That the petitions praying for annexation
were signed by the majority of the owners of the land in said area
who own more than one-half of the land area of the area to be
served.
Section Three. That the interests of sanitation and
public health of the District will be promoted by including the
area in its territory.

Section Four. That the sewage flow from the area
proposed to be annexed has no available outlet through public
sanitary sewers other than those of the District.
Section Five. The corporate boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, the Mississippi River
Subdistrict and the Gravois Creek Trunk Subdistrict are hereby
extended so as to include the above described area.
Section Six. Certified copies of this Ordinance shall
be filed in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis
County, the Recorder of Deeds of the City of St. Louis, and the
Secretary of State. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 13, 1966.
