AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Traylor Bros.,
Inc., for the construction of Section C-South Tunnel Trunk
Interceptor Sewer for the Mississippi River Subdistrict, with an
emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Traylor Bros., Inc., as the lowest
responsible bidder, for the construction of Section C-South Tunnel
Trunk Interceptor Sewer for the Mississippi River Subdistrict of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids
received and opened on the 19th day of January, 1966 and formally
executed on the 7th day of February, 1966 by said contractor and
by the Executive Director and the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of
the District, in the following form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for construction of pollution control facilities
urgently required for the protection of the public health,
constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan, and this
Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon its
adoption. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 10, 1966.
