AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with J.S. Alberici
Construction Co., Inc. for construction of Lemay Sludge Disposal
Facilities at the site of the Lemay Sewage Treatment Plant for the
Mississippi River Subdistrict within The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to J.S. Alberici Construction Co., Inc. as the
lowest responsible bidder, for the Lemay Sludge Disposal
Facilities at the site of the Lemay Sewage Treatment Plant in the
Mississippi River Subdistrict within The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 23rd
day of February, 1966, and formally executed on the 18th day of
March, 1966 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and
the Secretary=Treasurer on behalf of the District in the following
form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for construction of sewage treatment disposal
facilities and the facilities to be constructed being necessary
for the protection of the public health, constitutes an emergency
within the meaning of the Plan, and this Ordinance shall be and
become effective immediately upon its adoption. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 21, 1966.
