AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Corrigan
Company Mechanical Contractors, Inc., for the construction of
sanitary sewers in Subdistrict No. 280 (Rock Hill and Grantshire)
with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Corrigan Company Mechanical Contractors,
Inc., lowest responsible bidder, for the construction of sanitary
sewers in Subdistrict No. 280 (Rock Hill and Grantshire) of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received
and opened on the 8th day of June, 1966 and formally executed on
the 20th day of June, 1966 by said contractor and by the Executive
Director and the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District in
the following form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for sewer construction and the sewers to be
constructed being necessary for the protection of the public
health, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan,
and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon
its adoption. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 21, 1966.
