HomeMy Public PortalAbout01509 O R D I N A N C E NO. 1509 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 242 (Decker and Thorpe) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 242 (Decker and Thorpe). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 242 (Decker and Thorpe) shall be as follows: DECKER AND THORPE Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the centerline of Ashby Road with the centerline of Decker Avenue; thence northwardly along the centerline of said Ashby Road to its intersection with the centerline of Clarendon Avenue; thence eastwardly along the centerline of said Clarendon Avenue to its intersection with the northern prolongation of the west line of Lot 6 of North Ashby as recorded in Plat Book 9, page 54 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along said prolongation and continuing along the west line of Lots 6 and 7 in said subdivision to the southwest corner of said Lot 7; thence southwardly along the southern prolongation of the west line of said Lot 7 to its intersection with the centerline of said Decker Avenue; thence eastwardly along the centerline of said Decker Avenue to its intersection with the centerline of Shakespeare Avenue; thence southwardly along the centerline of said Shakespeare Avenue to its intersection with the eastern prolongation of the south line of Lot 27 of Ashby Place as recorded in Plat Book 9, page 3 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along said prolongation and continuing along the south line of Lots 27 and 15 in said subdivision to the southwest corner of said Lot 15; thence westwardly along the western prolongation of the south line of said Lot 15 to its intersection with the centerline of Gilwood Avenue, said point also being a point on the existing boundary line of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; thence northwardly and westwardly along said Sewer District boundary line to the point of beginning. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 21, 1966.
