AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of a portion of
sewer easement including the portion of sewer therein, in the City
of St. Louis, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the City of St. Louis, by Ordinance No. 53,756
vacated the southern part of the north-south alley in City Block
1563, bounded by Potomac Street, Jefferson Avenue, Miami Street
and Texas Avenue reserving, however, an easement for sewer
purposes therein; and
WHEREAS, the owner of such property has requested this
District to abandon its easement in the southern 185 feet of such
north-south alley, including the portion of sewer lying therein,
which portion of sewer and easement are no longer needed by the
District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The southern 185 feet of that sewer
easement reserved by the City of St. Louis by Ordinance No. 53756
over the area of the southern 204 feet of the former north-south
alley in City Block 1563, together with the portion of sewer lying
therein, is hereby vacated.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 14, 1966.
