AN ORDINANCE, repealing Ordinance No. 1274 adopted
February 25, 1965, establishing Subdistrict No. 253 (Country Aire)
and enacting an ordinance re-establishing a subdistrict in St.
Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 253
(Country Aire) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District.
WHEREAS, by adoption of Ordinance No. 1274 a
subdistrict to be known as Subdistrict No. 253 (Country Aire) of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District was established for the
purpose of constructing sewer or drainage facilities, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees, having been informed
thereon, finds that a revision of the boundaries of such
improvement area is advisable and desires that a public hearing be
held before such subdistrict is revised,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Hereby repealed is Ordinance No. 1274
adopted February 25, 1965, whereby Subdistrict No. 253 (Country
Aire) was established.
Section Two. Pursuant to a petition of residents of
the District, there is hereby re-established a subdistrict of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or
drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved
at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be
known as Subdistrict No. 253 (Country Aire).
Section Three. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 253

(Country Aire) shall be as follows:

COUNTRY AIRE
Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the
centerline of Ballas Road (60 feet wide); with the eastern
prolongation of the south line of property now or formerly owned
by the Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church, a Corporation, as
recorded in Deed Book 4957, page 577 of the St. Louis County
Records; thence westwardly along said prolongation and along said
south line to the southwest corner of said Zion Evangelical and
Reformed Church property; thence northwardly along the west line
of said Church property to the northwest corner thereof; thence
eastwardly along the north line of said Church property to the
west line of property now or formerly owned by Richard Daly as
recorded in Deed Book 2496, page 431 of the St. Louis County
Records; thence northwardly along the west line of said Daly
property across Jennifer Farm Lane, a private road, to the
northwest corner of said Daly property; thence eastwardly along
the north line of said Daly property and its prolongation
eastwardly to the centerline of Ballas Road; thence northwardly
along the centerline of Ballas Road, to its intersection with the
westward prolongation of the north line of Country Aire
Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 47, page 13 of the St. Louis
County Records; thence eastwardly along said prolongation and
along the north line of said Country Aire Subdivision and
continuing along the north line of Plat No. 2 of Country Aire Sub-
division, as recorded in Plat Book 53, page 48 of the St. Louis
County Records, and the north line of Plat No. 3 of Country Aire

Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 59, page 42 of the St. Louis
County Records, to the northeast corner of said Plat No. 3; thence
southwardly along the east line of said Plat No. 3 of Country Aire
Subdivision to the southeast corner thereof, which corner is also
on the north line of Section 22, Township 45 North, Range 5 East;
thence westwardly along said Section line to its intersection with
a line parallel with and 110 feet east of the east right-of-way
line of Ballas Road (60 feet wide); thence southwardly along said
parallel line to the north line of lot 1 of Parkway East, as
recorded in Plat Book 100, page 87 of the St. Louis County
Records; thence westwardly along the north line of said lot 1 to
the northwest corner thereof; thence westwardly in a straight line
to the point of beginning. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 30, 1966.
