Mr. Webb brought up the matter of our budget and suggested inasmuch as we have had a loss in personnel and have money left over from our Retirement Plan insurance that he use that for hospitalization plan insurance for each employee. This comes to $2.66 per month per each employee, under the Blue Cross Plan. After much discussion in which Mr. Beatty said that although we have the money this year, we may not have it in the future, Mr. ,',Town suggested we postpone this plan for a while. Apparently the building designated in :jurfside is not a permanent structure but the temporary loan of a building not in use presently. The meeting of May 413rd with the ocean front owners re erosion was reviewed. Mr. Webb reported Council and Village Engineer met with the County Commission in Mr. Feldman's apartment in the Carlton Terrace to get a "birdseye view" of the general conditions of erosion. After this, everyone went over to the Kenilworth for lunch to discuss this problem. Two important things to consider are: (1) Reconstruction of entire facilities; (2) Great necessity for artificial restoration of sand in immediate area south of cut. if the County contributes one third of this cost f dredging, it is expected the Government will meet it, and the Village will have to finance it's share. There being no further business, Mr. Hart moved that the meeting be adjourned. Seconded by Mr. Beatty and passed unanimously. ATTEST: Village Clerk MAY 24, 1958
