AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with G. L. Tarlton
Contracting Company for construction of Bissell Point Sewage
Treatment Plant, Primary Treatment Facilities for the Mississippi
River Subdistrict within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to G. L. Tarlton Contracting Company as the
lowest responsible bidder, for the construction of Bissell Point
Sewage Treatment Plant, Primary Treatment Facilities in the
Mississippi River Subdistrict within The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 30th
day of November, 1966, and formally executed on the 22nd day of
December, 1966 by said contractor and by the Executive Director
and the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District in the
following form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for construction of sewage treatment primary
facilities and the facilities to be constructed being necessary
for the protection of the public health, constitutes an emergency
within the meaning of the Plan, and this Ordinance shall be and
become effective immediately upon its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 22, 1966.
