HomeMy Public PortalAbout01605 O R D I N A N C E NO. 1605 AN ORDINANCE, amending Section Two of Ordinance No. 1574, adopted January 5, 1967, and revising the boundaries of Subdistrict No. 296 (Avenue H and Runyon) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Ordinance No. 1574, adopted January 5, 1967, is hereby amended by eliminating from the boundaries of Subdistrict No. 296 (Avenue H and Runyon), as set forth in Section Two thereof, in areas described as follows: 1.Lot 5 in Block 1 of Weber Home Sites, a subdivision in St. Louis County, Missouri, recorded in Plat Book 22, page 54 of the St. Louis County Records. 2.Beginning at a point, on the centerline of Avenue H (60 feet wide) 130 feet southwest of the centerline of Avenue F (60 feet wide); thence southwestwardly along the centerline of Avenue H to its intersection with a line parallel with and 170 feet southwest of the centerline of said Avenue F; thence northwestwardly along said parallel line to the southern most corner of property now or formerly owned by James J. and Peggy Ann Von Der Haar as recorded in Deed Book 5843, page 448 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southeastwardly in a straight line to a point on the northwest line of said Avenue H, said point being 92 2 feet southwest from the southwest line of Avenue F; thence southeastwardly in a straight line to the point of beginning, for the reason that the Board of Trustees finds that such property would not be benefited by the proposed sewer facilities to be constructed in such subdistrict. Section Two. Section Two of said Ordinance No. 1574 as hereby amended, shall read as follows: "Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 296 (Avenue H and Runyon) shall be as follows: 3 4 AVENUE H AND RUNYON Beginning at the easternmost corner of Lot 1, Block 1 of Weber Home Sites, as recorded in Plat Book 22, page 54 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwestwardly along the southeast line of said subdivision to the easternmost corner of Lot 5 in said Block 1 of Weber Home Sites; thence northwestwardly, southwestwardly and southeastwardly along the northeast, northwest and southwest lines of said Lot 5 to the southernmost corner of said Lot 5; thence southwestwardly along the southeast line of said Block 1 and the southwestwardly prolongation thereof to the centerline of Avenue F; thence northwestwardly along the centerline of Avenue F to its intersection with the centerline of Runyon Avenue; thence southwestwardly along the southwestwardly prolongation of the centerline of said Runyon Avenue to its intersection with a line parallel with and 130 feet southwest of the centerline of Avenue F, said 130 feet being measured at right angles to said centerline; thence northwestwardly along said parallel line to its intersection with the centerline of Avenue H; thence northwestwardly in a straight line to a point on the northwest line of said Avenue H, said point being 92 feet southwest of the southwest line of Avenue F; thence westwardly in a straight line to the southernmost corner of property now or formerly owned by James J. and Peggy Ann Von Der Haar as recorded in Deed Book 5843, page 448 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwestwardly along the southwest line of said Von Der Haar property and continuing along the southwest line of another parcel owned by Von 5 Der Haar as recorded in Deed Book 5843, page 446 of the St. Louis County Records, to the southeast line of Interstate Highway 55; thence northeastwardly along said southeast line to its intersection with the northeast line of property now or formerly owned by Theodore Wm. and Fern Ellen Willy, as recorded in Deed Book 5072, page 47 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southeastwardly along said northeast line and its prolongation southeastwardly to its intersection with the centerline of Avenue H; thence northeastwardly, eastwardly and southeastwardly along the centerline of Avenue H, as relocated by The Missouri State Highway Department, to its intersection with the centerline of Runyon Avenue; thence southwestwardly along the centerline of Runyon Avenue to its intersection with the northwestwardly prolongation of the northeast line of Lot 1, Block 1 of said Weber Home Sites; thence southeastwardly along said prolongation and said northeast line to the easternmost corner of said Lot 1, the point of beginning. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 20, 1967. 6
