AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with the General
Installation Company for the fabrication and installation of four
Discharge Siphons at the No. 2 River des Peres Pumping Station,
with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to General Installation Company as the lowest
responsible bidder, for the fabrication and installation of four
Discharge Siphons at the No. 2 River des Peres Pumping Station,
pursuant to bids received and opened on the 2nd day of June, 1967,
and formally executed on the 21st day of June, 1967 by said
contractor and by the Executive Director and the Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of the District in the following form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for construction of sewer facilities and the
facilities to be constructed being necessary for the protection of
the public health, an emergency exists within the meaning of the
Plan, and this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 22, 1967.
