HomeMy Public PortalAbout01629 O R D I N A N C E NO. 1629 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 314 (Glade Avenue Lateral) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 314 (Glade Avenue Lateral). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 314 (Glade Avenue Lateral) shall be as follows: GLADE AVENUE LATERAL Beginning at a point, said point being the northeast corner of Lot 5 in Block 8 of Ben-Avis Park as recorded in Plat Book 3 on page 34 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along the east line of said Lot 5 to the southeast corner thereof; thence southwardly in a straight line across Glade Avenue to the northeast corner of Lot 8 in Block 7 of said Ben-Avis Park; thence southwardly along the east line of said Lot 8 to the southeast corner thereof; thence westwardly along the south line of said Lot 8 to the southwest corner thereof; thence southwestwardly in a straight line across Gillette Avenue to the southeast corner of Lot 5 in Block 6 of said Ben-Avis Park; thence westwardly along the southern line of Lots 5, 6, 7 and 8 in said Block 6 to the southwest corner of said Lot 8; thence northwardly along the west line of said Lot 8 to the northwest corner thereof; thence northwardly along a straight line across Glade Avenue to the southwest corner of Lot 1 in Block 8 of said Ben-Avis Park; thence northwardly along the west line of said Lot 1 to the northwest corner thereof; thence eastwardly along the north line of said Block 8 to the northeast corner of Lot 5 in Block 8, the point of beginning. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 6, 1967. -2-
