HomeMy Public PortalAbout01631 O R D I N A N C E NO. 1631 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 279 (Old Florissant and Carrolton) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 279 (Old Florissant and Carrolton). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 279 (Old Florissant and Carrolton) shall be as follows: OLD FLORISSANT AND CARROLTON Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the centerline of North Elizabeth Avenue (formerly Old Florissant Road) with the southeastern prolongation of the northwest line of Charlotte Drive (50 feet wide); thence northwestwardly along the centerline of said North Elizabeth Avenue to its intersection with the southwestern prolongation of the northwest line of Lot 4 in "Dorrndale" as recorded in Plat Book 27, page 33 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northeastwardly along said prolongation and along the northwest line of said Lot 4 to its intersection with a line parallel with and 250.5 feet northeast of the centerline of said North Elizabeth Avenue; thence southeastwardly along said parallel line to the northwest line of Lot 1 in said "Dorrndale"; thence southeastwardly in a straight line to the southeast corner of said Lot 1 which is a point on the northwest line of said Charlotte Drive; thence southwestwardly along the northwest line of said Charlotte Drive and its prolongation southwestwardly to the centerline of North Elizabeth Avenue, the point of beginning. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 6, 1967. -2-
