AN ORDINANCE vacating a portion of a sewer easement in
St. Louis County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the Owner of the subject property has
requested this District to vacate such portion of easement, and
has granted this District a satisfactory substitute easement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The following described portion of sewer
easement is hereby vacated, to wit:
That portion of the easement granted by Vernon G. Ellis
and Rosemary Ellis, his wife, by instrument dated May 10, 1967 and
recorded in Book 6209, page 139 of the St. Louis County Records,
which portion is more particularly described as being an easement
ten (10) feet wide, the centerline of which begins at a point on
the northeast line of Lot 8, Amended Poplar Court Subdivision, a
subdivision of St. Louis County, Missouri, according to the plat
thereof recorded in Plat Book 69, page 32 of the St. Louis County
Records, which point is 73.07 feet northwest of the eastern corner
of said Lot 8; thence northwardly a distance of 156.58 feet to its
intersection with the eastern line of an easement, granted by
aforesaid Plat, excepting therefrom any portion of said previously
granted easement, and also excepting therefrom any portion of a
ten (10) foot wide sewer easement granted by said Plat over the
northeastern ten (10) feet of aforesaid Lot 8.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 2, 1967.
