HomeMy Public PortalAbout01678 O R D I N A N C E NO. 1678 AN ORDINANCE, amending Section Two of Ordinance No. 1415, adopted November 18, 1965, and revising the boundaries of Subdistrict No. 254 (West Florissant and I-270 Subtrunk) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Ordinance No. 1415, adopted November 18, 1965, is hereby amended by eliminating from the boundaries of Subdistrict No. 254 (West Florissant and I-270 Subtrunk), as set forth in Section Two thereof, an area described as follows: Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the centerline of Interstate 270 with West Florissant Avenue; thence eastwardly along the centerline of Interstate Highway 270 to its intersection with the northern prolongation of the west line of property now or formerly owned by Grandview Baptist Church as recorded in Deed Book 4807, page 78 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along said prolongation of the said Church property to a south line of another tract of land conveyed to the Grandview Baptist Church by Deed Book 4264, page 42 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along the south line of the last mentioned church tract and its prolongation westwardly to the centerline of West Florissant Road; thence northwardly along the 2 centerline of said West Florissant Road to the point of beginning. for the reason that the Board of Trustees finds that such property would not be benefited by the proposed sewer facilities to be constructed in such subdistrict. Section Two. Section Two of said Ordinance No. 1415 as hereby amended shall read as follows: "Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 254 (West Florissant and I-270 Subtrunk) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 3 4 WEST FLORISSANT AND I-270 SUBTRUNK Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the centerline of Interstate 270 with the northern prolongation of the west line of property now or formerly owned by Grandview Baptist Church as recorded in Deed Book 4807, page 78 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along the centerline of Interstate Highway 270 to its intersection with the northern prolongation of the west line of property now or formerly owned by North Hills Methodist Church as recorded in Deed Book 4601, page 35 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along said prolongation and along the western line of said Church property to the southwest corner of said property, said point also being a point on the north line of Northland Hills No. 7, Plat 2 as recorded in Plat Book 104, pages 34 and 35 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along the north line of said subdivision and its prolongation westwardly to its intersection with the northern prolongation of the westernmost line of said Northland Hills No. 7, Plat 2; thence southwardly along said prolongation and along the west line of said subdivision, which line is also the east line of Black Oaks, Plat Two as recorded in Plat Book 78, page 16 of the St. Louis County Records, to the southeast corner of Lot 26 in said Black Oaks, Plat Two; thence westwardly along the south line of Lot 26 to the southwest corner of Lot 26; thence northwestwardly in a straight line across Harneywold Drive, 50 feet wide, to the southeast corner of Lot 54 of said Black Oaks, Plat Two; thence westwardly along the south 5 line of Lot 54 to the southwest corner of said Lot 54; thence northwardly along the west line of said Lot 54 to the northwest corner of said Lot 54 which point is also the southeast corner of Lot 57 of Black Oaks, Plat Two; thence westwardly along the south line of Lots 57 through 62 of said subdivision to the southwest corner of said Lot 62 of Black Oaks, Plat One, as recorded in Plat Book 75, page 15 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along the south line of Lots 63 through 65 of said Black Oaks, Plat One, to the southwest corner of said Lot 65; thence northwardly along the west line of Lot 65 and continuing along the northern prolongation of said west line to the centerline of Harneywold Drive, 50 feet wide; thence westwardly along the centerline of said Harneywold Drive to its intersection with the southern prolongation of the west line of Lot "A" of said Black Oaks, Plat One; thence northwardly along said prolongation and along the west line of Lot "A" to the northwest corner of Lot "A"; thence westwardly along the north line of Lot 39 in said subdivision to the southwest corner of property now or formerly owned by Grandview Baptist Church as recorded in Deed Book 4807, page 78 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along the west line of said Church property and continuing along the northern prolongation of said west line to the centerline of said Interstate 270, the point of beginning. 6 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 30, 1967.
