AN ORDINANCE, amending Ordinance No. 455, relating to
the compensation of employees in the unclassified service, by
striking the words "Effective October 15, 1960" from Sections
Eight and Nine, by striking the figure $16,000.00 from Section
Eight and adding in lieu thereof the figure $16,800.00, and by
striking the figure $14,000 from Section Nine and adding in lieu
thereof the figure $14,700.00.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Ordinance No. 455 is hereby amended by
striking from Sections Eight and Nine the words "Effective October
15, 1960".
Section Two. Ordinance No. 455, as amended by
Ordinance No. 1087, is hereby further amended by striking from
Section Eight the figure $16,000.00 and adding in lieu thereof the
figure $16,800.00.
Section Three. Ordinance No. 455 is hereby amended by
striking from Section Nine the figure $14,000.00 and adding in
lieu thereof the figure $14,700.00.
Section Four. Sections Eight and Nine of Ordinance No.
455 as hereby amended shall read as follows:
"Section Eight. The salary of the Director of the
Engineering Department shall be not less than $10,000.00 nor
more than $16,800.00 per annum, payable in equal semi-monthly
installments.
"The Director of the Engineering Department shall
perform, in addition to his duties as chief of design, the duties
heretofore assigned to the Director of Subdistrict Development
Department. He shall be responsible to the Executive Director for
the effective administration of his department and all activities
assigned to it."
"Section Nine. The salary of the Director of the
Maintenance Department shall be not less than $9,000.00 nor more
than $14,700.00 per annum, payable in equal semi-monthly
installments."
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 30, 1967. -2-
