HomeMy Public PortalAbout01686AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1949 O R D I N A N C E NO. 1686 AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and of the Coldwater Creek Trunk Subdistrict to include an area of St. Louis County which could be efficiently served by the sewer facilities of the District and of the Coldwater Creek Trunk Subdistrict. WHEREAS, petitions to the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District have been received from the sole owner of the land in said area, praying for annexation to both the District and the Coldwater Creek Trunk Subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; and WHEREAS, this area adjoins The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and such Coldwater Creek Trunk Subdistrict and the existing sewers of the District and Subdistrict are adequate to handle all of its sanitary sewage, that the interests of sanitation and public health of the District will be promoted by including the area in its territory; and that the sewage flow from the area proposed to be annexed has no available outlet through public sanitary sewers other than those of the District, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. That the Board finds that the sewer facilities of the District can efficiently serve the area of St. Louis County, Missouri, described as follows: Beginning at a point in the centerline of Fee Fee Road 97 feet north of the intersection of the north line of Survey 8 Marais des Liards Common Fields, St. Louis County, Missouri, with 2 the centerline of Fee Fee Road; which is also a point on the existing boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; thence westwardly a distance of 240 feet along the south line of Lot 2 of "Anglum Acres Addition", a subdivision in St. Louis County in Surveys 7 and 1249 of the said Marais des Liards Common Fields to the west corner thereof; thence northward a distance of 193.90 feet along the west line of Lots 2 and 3 of the aforesaid "Anglum Acres Addition", being also the east line of Lot 32 of "Anglum Acres", a subdivision in St. Louis County in aforesaid Surveys 7 and 1249 to its intersection with the south line of Anglum Lane (50 feet wide); thence westwardly a distance of 396.24 feet along the north line of Lot 32 of the aforesaid "Anglum Acres" (being also the south line of Anglum Lane, a private road to its intersection with the west line of Lot 32 of said "Anglum Acres"; thence southwardly a distance of 336.68 feet along the west line of Lot 32 of "Anglum Acres" to its intersection with the south line of said subdivision; thence westwardly a distance of 1380.24 feet along the said south line of "Anglum Acres" to the western corner thereof; thence northwardly a distance of 723.36 feet along the west line of the aforesaid "Anglum Acres", being also the east line of United States Survey 278 to the northern corner of such subdivision; thence westwardly a distance of 373.0 feet along a line which is the prolongation westwardly of the north line of "Anglum Acres" to a point; thence eastwardly a distance of 436.88 feet along a line making an angle of approximately 30# with the immediately before-described line to a point in the east line of United States Survey 278 which point is 3 62.11 feet south of the north line of Share 2 of the Partition of the Estate of Martha Ann Dehatre measured along the aforesaid east line of Survey; thence northwardly a distance of 62.11 feet along the east line of United States Survey 278 to aforesaid north line of Share 2; thence eastwardly a distance of 2001.41 feet along the said north line of Share 2 to a point in the centerline of Fee Fee Road; thence southwardly along the centerline of Fee Fee Road which is also a part of the existing boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, a distance of 911.81 feet to the point of beginning. Section Two. That the petition praying for annexation was signed by the sole owner of the land in said area. Section Three. That the interests of sanitation and public health of the District will be promoted by including the area in its territory. Section Four. That the sewage flow from the area proposed to be annexed has no available outlet through public sanitary sewers other than those of the District. Section Five. The corporate boundaries of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and the Coldwater Creek Trunk Subdistrict are hereby extended so as to include the above described area. Section Six. Certified copies of this ordinance shall be filed in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis County, the Recorder of Deeds of the City of St. Louis, and the Secretary of State. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 7, 1967. 4
