AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with E. J. Fischer,
for the construction of downstream sanitary sewer facilities in
the Coldwater Creek Trunk Subdistrict to serve an area North of
Old Halls Ferry Road and Parker Road and West of U. S. Highway 67
in St. Louis County, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to E. J. Fischer, as the lowest responsible
bidder for the construction of downstream sanitary sewer
facilities in the Coldwater Creek Trunk Subdistrict of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received
and opened on the 29th day of November, 1967 and formally executed
on the 19th day of December, 1967, by said contractor and by the
Executive Director and the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the
District, in the following form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for sewer construction and the sewers to be
constructed being necessary for the protection of the public
health, an emergency exists within the meaning of the Plan, and
this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon its
adoption. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 20, 1967.
