AN ORDINANCE, confirming a contract with E. J. Fischer,
for the construction of sanitary interceptor sewer facilities in
the Watkins Creek Subdistrict to serve an area generally north of
Interstate 270, south of Parker Road, east of Old Halls Ferry Road
and west of Columbia Bottoms Road, in St. Louis County, with an
emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to E. J. Fischer, as the lowest responsible
bidder, for the construction of sanitary interceptor sewer
facilities in the Watkins Creek Subdistrict of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on
the 7th day of December, 1967 and formally executed on the 3rd day
of January, 1968, by said contractor and by the Executive Director
and the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District, in the
following form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for sewer construction and the sewers to be
constructed being necessary for the protection of the public
health, an emergency exists within the meaning of the Plan, and
this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon its
adoption. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 4, 1968.
