AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with G. L. Tarlton
Contracting Company for the construction of the Watkins Creek to
Maline Creek Interceptor and the Watkins Creek Pumping Station,
along Riverview Drive between Watkins Creek to Maline Creek, St.
Louis, Missouri, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to G. L. Tarlton Contracting Company, as the
lowest responsible bidder, for the construction of the Watkins
Creek to Maline Creek Interceptor and the Watkins Creek Pumping
Station, along Riverview Drive between Watkins Creek to Maline
Creek, St. Louis, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened
on the 20th day of December, 1967, and formally executed on the
11th day of January, 1968, by said contractor and by the Executive
Director and the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District, in
the following form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for sewer construction and the sewers to be
constructed being necessary for the protection of the public
health, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan,
and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon
its adoption. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 18, 1968.
