HomeMy Public PortalAbout01729 O R D I N A N C E NO. 1729 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 247 (DeSmet- Florland) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 247 (DeSmet-Florland). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 247 (DeSmet-Florland) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 2 DeSMET-FLORLAND Beginning at the intersection of the centerlines of Campion Lane (50 feet wide) and Manresa Lane (50 feet wide); thence southeastwardly along said centerline of Manresa Lane to its intersection with the centerline of Clover Lane (50 feet wide); thence northeastwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the northwestwardly prolongation of the line dividing Lots 348 and 349 of DeSmet, Plat Five, a subdivision in St. Louis County, Missouri, as recorded in Plat Book 86, pages 30 and 31, St. Louis County Recorder's office; thence southeastwardly along said prolongation and along said dividing line to the southeast line of Lot 349; thence northeastwardly along said southeast line to its intersection with the line dividing Lots 341 and 342 of said subdivision; thence southeastwardly along said dividing line to its intersection with the northwest line of Garnier Court (50 feet wide); thence northeastwardly, eastwardly and southeastwardly along the northwest, north and northeast line of said Garnier Court to its intersection with the line dividing Lots 338 and 339 of said Subdivision; thence northeastwardly along said dividing line to the northeast line of Lot 338; thence southeastwardly along said northeast line, being also the southwest line of Lot 319 of DeSmet, Plat Four, as recorded in Plat Book 82, pages 34 and 35, St. Louis County Recorder's office; to its intersection with the line dividing Lots 319 and 320 of said Subdivision; thence northeastwardly along said dividing line and along the northeastwardly prolongation thereof to its intersection with the 3 centerline of Berchmans Lane (50 feet wide); thence southeastwardly and eastwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the centerline of Canisius Lane (50 feet wide); thence northwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the centerline of Regis Lane (50 feet wide); thence southeastwardly and southwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the centerline of Loyola Drive (50 feet wide); thence eastwardly and southeastwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the southwardly prolongation of the line dividing Lots 1 and 2 of DeSmet, Plat 1, a subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 73, page 21, St. Louis County Recorder's office; thence northwardly along said prolongation and along said dividing line to the northeast line of Lot 1; thence southeastwardly along said northeast line and along the southeastwardly prolongation thereof to its intersection with the centerline of State Highway 140 (Lindbergh Boulevard); thence northeastwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the centerline of Florland Drive (50 feet wide); thence northwestwardly, northwardly and again northwestwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the southwestwardly prolongation of the line dividing Lots 7 and 8 of Florland, Plat 1, a subdivision in St. Louis County, Missouri, as recorded in Plat Book 73, page 14, St. Louis County Recorder's office; thence northeastwardly along said prolongation and along said dividing line to the northeastern line of said Lot 7, being also the northeastern line of said subdivision; thence northwestwardly along said northeast line and the northwestwardly 4 prolongation thereof to its intersection with the centerline of Rosetta Drive (50 feet wide); thence northeastwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the centerline of Keeven Lane (50 feet wide); thence northwestwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the northeastwardly prolongation of the line dividing Lots 65 and 66 of Crest Aire, Plat One, a subdivision in St. Louis County, Missouri, as recorded in Plat Book 123, page 34, St. Louis County Recorder's Office; thence southwestwardly along said prolongation and along said dividing line to the southwestern line of said Lot 65; being also the southwest line of said Subdivision; thence north 53 degrees 07-1/2 minutes west, 300 feet along said S.W. line to its intersection with the northwest line of said subdivision; thence continuing north 53 degrees 07-1/2 minutes west, 600 feet to a point; thence south 36 degrees 52-1/2 minutes west, 35 feet to a point; thence north 53 degrees 07-1/2 minutes west, 155 feet to a point; thence south 36 degrees 52-1/2 minutes west, 48 feet to a point; thence north 66 degrees 02 minutes 30 seconds west 164 feet, more or less, to the southeast line of property now of formerly owned by Jo-D Builders as recorded in Deed Book 6236, page 146 of the St. Louis County Re- cords; thence southwestwardly along the southeast line of said Jo- D Builders property to the southernmost corner thereof; thence northwestwardly along the southwest line of said property to the easternmost corner of property now or formerly owned by John H. Flergage as recorded in Deed Book 2970, page 433 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwestwardly along the southeast line of 5 said Flergage property and along the southeast line of property now or formerly owned by Geo. Moellering as recorded in Deed Book 200, page 476 of the St. Louis County Records to the southernmost corner of said Moellering property; thence northwestwardly along the southwest line of said Moellering property to its intersection with a line parallel with and 200 feet southeast of the centerline of Howdershell Road; thence southwestwardly along said parallel line for a distance of 1,000 feet to a point; thence southeastwardly along a straight line making an angle of 85 degrees to the left from said parallel line for a distance of 1,970 feet to a point; thence eastwardly in a straight line to the northernmost corner of Lot 362 in aforesaid DeSmet Plat No. 5; thence southeastwardly along the northeast line of said Lot 362 and along the southeastern prolongation of said northeast line to the centerline of Campion Lane; thence southwestwardly along said centerline to the centerline of Manresa Lane, the point of beginning.
