AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Hoffmann
Ditching Company, Inc., formerly Roland Hoffmann Ditching Company,
for the construction of a storm water channel, with inlets in
Section V (Extension) of Subdistrict No. 88 (Fountain Creek), with
an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Roland Hoffmann Ditching Company, as the
lowest responsible bidder, for the construction of a storm water
channel, with inlets in Section V of Subdistrict No. 88 (Fountain
Creek) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to
bids received and opened on the 29th day of September, 1967 and
formally executed on the 10th day of October, 1967 by said
contractor and by the Executive Director and the Secretary--
Treasurer on behalf of the District shall be extended under the
same terms and provisions included in the original contract to
cover the construction designated as Section V (Extension) of
Subdistrict No. 88 (Fountain Creek), in the following form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for sewer construction and the sewers to be
constructed being necessary for the protection of the public
health, an emergency exists within the meaning of the Plan, and
this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon its
adoption. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 29, 1968.
