AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Drainage
Construction Corporation for the construction of sanitary sewers
in Subdistrict No. 306 (Eggling Lane), with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Drainage Construction Corporation, as the
lowest responsible bidder, for the construction of sanitary sewers
in Subdistrict No. 308 (Eggling Lane) of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the
3rd day of July, 1968 and formally executed on the 10th day of
July, 1968 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and
the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District, in the
following form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for sewer construction and the sewers to be
constructed being necessary for the protection of the public
health, an emergency exists within the meaning of the Plan, and
this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon its
adoption. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 10, 1968.
