AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to include an area of St.
Louis County which could be efficiently served by the sewer or
drainage facilities of the District.
WHEREAS, a petition to the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District has been received from the
owner of the land in said area who owns all of the land area
therein praying for annexation to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District, and the Mississippi River Subdistrict; and
WHEREAS, this area adjoins The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District and the Mississippi River Subdistrict, and can
drain all of its sanitary sewage into existing sewers within the
District and such Subdistrict, that the interests of sanitation
and public health of the District will be promoted by including
the area in its territory; and that the sewage flow from the area
proposed to be annexed has no available outlet through public
sanitary sewers other than those of the District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. That the Board finds that the sewer
facilities of the District can efficiently serve the area
described as follows:
Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection
of the centerline of Manchester Road and the southern prolongation
of the west line of Lot No. 14 of Resubdivision of the northern
part of Hathaway Township in the NW 1/4 of Sec. 34, Township 45
North, Range 5 East, St. Louis County, Missouri, also being the
west line of property now or formerly owned by Lawrence H. and
Dorothy F. Tudor as recorded in Deed Book 3480 on page 136 of the
St. Louis County Records, which is a point on the existing
boundary line of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; thence
northward (North 0 degrees 08 minutes East) along said
prolongation and along the west line of said Tudor property (also
being along the boundary line of Annexation by Ord. 260 to The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District) to the northwest corner of
said Tudor property, also being the north line of Section 34;
thence westwardly (North 89 degrees 50 minutes West) along the
north line of Section 34 a distance of 205.5 feet to the northwest
corner of property owned by American Oil Company; thence
southwardly (South 0 degrees 08 minutes West) a distance of 382.0
feet, more or less, to the centerline of Manchester Road; thence
easterly along the centerline of Manchester Road (also being the
boundary line of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District) to the
point of beginning.
Section Two. That the petition praying for annexation
was signed by the sole owner of the land in said area who owns all
of the land area of the area to be served.
Section Three. That the interests of sanitation and
public health of the District will be promoted by including the
area in its territory.
Section Four. That the sewage flow from the area
proposed to be annexed has no available outlet through public

Section Five. The corporate boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and of the Mississippi River
Subdistrict, are hereby extended so as to include the above
described area.
Section Six. Certified copies of this Ordinance shall
be filed in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis
County, the Recorder of Deeds of the City of St. Louis, and the
Secretary of State. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 11, 1968.
