AN ORDINANCE transferring Sixty Thousand Three Hundred
Ten Dollars ($60,310.00) from the Mississippi River Subdistrict
Construction Fund to the Improvement Fund, and transferring
Fourteen Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety Dollars ($14,990.00) from
the Watkins Creek Trunk Subdistrict Construction Fund to the
Improvement Fund, and appropriating from the Improvement Fund the
sum of Two Hundred Four Thousand Five Hundred Dollars
($204,500.00) to be used to purchase from Spanish Lake Service,
Inc., a Missouri Corporation, the owner thereof, all of the sewers
and appurtenances, including all mains, trunks, laterals, and all
other lines owned by Spanish Lake Service, Inc. within the
boundaries of the Watkins Creek Trunk Subdistrict, and those
necessary to serve that area within said boundaries, together with
all easements, permits, rights and all other things necessary to
convey all of the title in said sewer system to The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Sixty Thousand Three Hundred
Ten Dollars ($60,310.00) is hereby transferred from the
Mississippi River Subdistrict Construction Fund to the Improvement
Fund.
Section Two. The sum of Fourteen Thousand Nine Hundred
Ninety Dollars ($14,990.00) is hereby transferred from the Watkins
Creek Trunk Subdistrict Construction Fund to the Improvement Fund.
Section Three. The sum of Two Hundred Four Thousand
Five Hundred Dollars ($204,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Improvement Fund to be used for the purchase from Spanish Lake
Service, Inc., a Missouri Corporation, the owner thereof, all of
the sewers and appurtenances, including all mains, trunks,
laterals, and all other lines owned by Spanish Lake Service, Inc.
within the boundaries of the Watkins Creek Trunk Subdistrict, and
those necessary to serve that area within said boundaries,
together with all easements, permits, rights and all other things
necessary to convey all of the title in said sewer system to The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 11, 1968.
