HomeMy Public PortalAbout01813 O R D I N A N C E NO. 1813 AN ORDINANCE repealing Ordinance No. 992 relating to paid holidays and leaves of absence of officers and employees in the full-time unclassified administrative service of the District and enacting in lieu thereof an ordinance extending to the full- time officers and employees in the unclassified administrative service of the District the holiday provisions contained in Civil Service Rule 13.8, and the various forms of leave of absence contained in Civil Service Rules 14.1, 14.2, 14.3, 14.4, 14.5, 14.6, 14.7, 14.8, 14.9 and 14.10. Section One. Ordinance No. 992, prescribing paid holidays and vacations of officers and employees in the full-tine unclassified administrative service of the District is hereby repealed. Section Two. The provisions contained in Civil Service Rule 13.8 providing for paid holidays are hereby extended to and prescribed for all officers and employe in the full-time unclassified administrative service of the District. Section Three. The provisions of Civil Service Rules 14.1 thru 14.10 are hereby extended to and prescribed for all officers and employees in the full-time unclassified administrative service of the District. Section Four. The scheduling of the vacations hereinabove provided shall be at the discretion of the appointing authority in each case and subject to the operating requirements of the District. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 7, 1968.
