HomeMy Public PortalAbout01820 O R D I N A N C E NO. 1820 AN ORDINANCE, amending Section Two of Ordinance No. 1407, adopted November 4, 1965 and revising the boundaries of Subdistrict No. 282 (Lindbergh-Lemay Ferry Subtrunk) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. WHEREAS, the Board finds that an additional area can be efficiently served as a part of Subdistrict No. 282 (Lindbergh- Lemay Ferry Subtrunk) and that an area included therein will not be benefited by improvements in the Subdistrict. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Section Two of Ordinance No. 1407, adopted November 4, 1965, is hereby amended by adding to Subdistrict No. 282 (Lindbergh-Lemay Ferry Subtrunk) an area described as: Beginning in the southeastern line of property conveyed to Charles Niemeyer and wife by deed recorded in Deed Book 611, page 540, St. Louis County Records, at its intersection with the existing boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, said existing boundary being a line parallel with, and 200 feet southwestwardly from, measured at right angles to, the southwestern line of Lindbergh Boulevard, 200 feet wide; thence South 35 degrees 39 minutes West, 508 feet, more or less, along the southeast line of said Niemeyer property to its intersection with the north line of property condemned by the State of Missouri in Cause No. 257359 of the Circuit Court of St. Louis County, Missouri, for U.S. Highway I-255; thence along the north line of 2 said Highway I-255, South 84 degrees 45 minutes East, 436.04 feet to its intersection with the southeast line of property conveyed to Charles E. Celeslie, et al. by deed recorded in Deed Book 2212, page 205, St. Louis county Records; thence along said southeast line North 35 degrees 39 minutes East, 170.00 feet to the southernmost corner of property conveyed to George H. Parker and wife by deed recorded in Deed Book 4703, page 348, St. Louis county Records; thence North 54 degrees 07 minutes West, 346.16 feet along the southwest lines of said Parker property and of those properties conveyed to Elvin A. Hanke and wife, by deed recorded in Deed Book 2326, page 638 and to Albert B. Mueller and wife by deed recorded in Deed Book 2459, page 28, to the westernmost corner of said Mueller property; thence northeastwardly along the northwestern line of said Mueller property, 113 feet, more or less, to its intersection with the existing boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; thence northwestwardly along said existing boundary line, 30.06 feet to the beginning; AND BY ELIMINATING an area described as follows: Beginning in the northeast line of Evergreen Lane, 40 feet wide, at its intersection with the northwest line of property conveyed to Peter F. Mess and wife by deed recorded in Book 2383, page 136, St. Louis County Recorder's Office; thence along said northwest line North 35 degrees 49 minutes East, 329.50 feet to the southwest line of Parcel No. 1 of property conveyed to Marlac 3 Corporation by deed recorded in Book 5267, page 460, said Recorder's office; thence along the southwest and southeast lines of said Marlac Corporation property, North 54 degrees 09 minutes West, 78.11 feet and South 35 degrees 49 minutes West, 329.50 feet, respectively, to the northeast line of said Evergreen Lane; thence along said Lane line South 54 degrees 09 minutes East, 78.11 feet to the beginning. Section Two. Section Two of said Ordinance No. 1407, as affected by Ordinance No. 1784, and as hereby amended shall read as follows: "Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 282 (Lindbergh-Lemay Ferry Subtrunk) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 4 LINDBERGH-LEMAY FERRY SUBTRUNK Beginning at the southernmost corner of Lot 21, Block 2 of Amended Poplar Court, a subdivision in St. Louis County,Missouri, as per plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 69, page 32 of the ST. Louis County Records; thence northeastwardly along the southeast line of said Lot 21 and its northeastern prolongation to the centerline of Druso Drive; thence northwestwardly along said centerline of Druso Drive to its intersection with the southwestern prolongation of the northwest line of Lot 16 in Block 1 of Poplar Court, a subdivision in St. Louis county, Missouri, as per plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 66, page 2 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northeastwardly along said prolongation and along the northwest line of said Lot 16 to the northernmost corner thereof; thence southeastwardly along the northeast lines of Lots 16, 17 and 18 in said Block 1, and continuing along the southeastern prolongation of said northeast lines to the centerline of Berview Lane; thence northeastwardly along said centerline of Berview Lane to the centerline of Victory Drive; thence northwestwardly along the centerline of Victory Drive to its intersection with the southwestern prolongation of the southeast line of property conveyed to Lebbing-Tosie Construction Co., Inc. by deed recorded in Deed Book 4856, page 280 of the ST. Louis County Records; thence northeastwardly along said prolongation to the southeast corner of said Lebbing-Tosie Construction Co., Inc., property; thence westwardly along the south line of said Lebbing-Tosie 5 property to the southwest corner thereof, also being the most southern corner of property conveyed to Earl Raymond Smith, by deed recorded in Deed Book 3993, page 160 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwestwardly along the southwest line of said Smith property to the northwest line of Lot 72 of Carondelet Commons; thence southwestwardly along said northwest line and its prolongation southwestwardly across Victory Drive and continuing southwestwardly along said prolongation and along the southeast line of Parcel No. 3 of property conveyed to Marlac Corporation by deed recorded in Deed Book 5267, page 460 of the St. Louis County Records, to the southernmost corner of said Marlac Corporation Parcel No. 3, said southernmost corner also being the easternmost corner of Parcel No. 2 as described in said deed recorded in Deed Book 5267, page 460; thence southwestwardly, northwestwardly, southwestwardly and northwestwardly along the southeast, southwest, southeast and southwest lines of said Parcel No. 2 to the southwesternmost corner thereof, said southwesternmost corner also being the southeasternmost corner of Parcel No. 1 as described in said deed recorded in Deed Book 5267, page 460 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwestwardly 36.89 feet, more or less, along the southwest line of said Parcel No. 1 to the northwest line of property conveyed to Peter F. Mess and wife by deed recorded in Deed Book 2383, page 136, St. Louis County Records; thence southwestwardly along the northwest line of said Mess property 329.50 feet to the northeast line of a roadway (40 6 feet wide), established by instrument recorded in Deed Book 2104, page 628 of the St. Louis Records, and known as Evergreen Lane; thence northwestwardly along said northeast line of said Evergreen Lane and the northwestwardly prolongation thereof to the centerline of Lemay Ferry Road (80 feet wide); thence southwestwardly along the centerline of said Lemay Ferry Road to its intersection with the existing boundary line of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; thence southeastwardly along the existing boundary line of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to its intersection with the northwest line of property conveyed to Betty J. Cox, et al, by deed recorded in Deed Book 6277, page 539 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwestwardly 508 feet, more or less, along the northwest line of said Cox, et al, property to its westernmost corner in the northern line of U.S. Highway No. I-255 as established by condemnation thru Cause #257359 of the Circuit Court of St. Louis County, Missouri; thence eastwardly along said northern line of said Highway No. I-255, 436.04 feet to the southeast line of property conveyed to Charles E. Celeslie, et al, by deed recorded in Book 2212, page 205, ST. Louis County Records; thence northeastwardly along the southeastern line of said Celeslie, et al, property, 170.00 feet to the southernmost corner of property conveyed to George H. Parker and wife by deed recorded in Deed Book 4703, page 348, St. Louis County Records; thence northwestwardly along the southwestern line of said Parker 7 property and along the southwestern lines of properties conveyed to Elvin A. Hanks and wife, by deed recorded in Book 2326, page 638 and to Albert B. Mueller and wife by deed recorded in Deed Book 2459, page 28, a distance of 346.16 feet to the westernmost corner of said Mueller property; thence northeastwardly along the northwestern line of said Mueller property, 113 feet, more or less, to its intersection with the original boundary line of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; thence southeastwardly along said original boundary line, 346 feet, more or less, to its intersection with the southeast line of said Parker property; thence northeastwardly along said southeast line, and its northeastwardly prolongation, to the centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard, 200 feet wide; thence southeastwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the southwestern prolongation of the southeast line of property conveyed to Samuel and Marie LaRole by deed recorded in Deed Book 1952, page 141, St. Louis County Records; thence northeastwardly along said prolongation and along the southeast line of said LaRole property to the easternmost corner thereof; thence northwestwardly along the northeast line of said LaRole property to the southernmost corner of property conveyed to Herbert W. Fernow by deed recorded in Deed Book 1855, page 29 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northeastwardly along the southeast line of said Fernow property to the easternmost corner thereof, being in the southwest line of property conveyed to Gus C. and Ann Schumann by deed recorded in 8 Deed Book 1829, page 168 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southeastwardly along said southwest line of said Schumann property to its intersection with a line parallel with and 125 feet southeast of the northwest line of said Schumann property; thence northeastwardly along said parallel line 350 feet to a point in the northeast line of said Schumann property; thence southeast along said northeast line to the southernmost corner of Lot 21 of said Block 2 of Amended Poplar Court, the point of beginning. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 12, 1968.
