AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Murphy &
Associates for the construction of improvements of the Coldwater
Creek Sewage Treatment Plant, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Murphy & Associates, as the lowest
responsible bidder, for the construction of improvements of the
Coldwater Creek Trunk Sewage Treatment Plant for the Coldwater
Creek Trunk Subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 13th day of
November, 1968 and formally executed on the 11th day of December,
1968, by said contractor and by the Executive Director and the
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District, in the following
form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for sewer construction and the sewers to be
constructed being necessary for the protection of the public
health, an emergency exists within the meaning of the Plan, and
this ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon its
enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 27, 1968.
