HomeMy Public PortalAbout01832 O R D I N A N C E NO. 1832 AN ORDINANCE vacating a sewer easement in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. WHEREAS, the City of St. Louis, by Ordinance No. 51433, approved July 3, 1962, has vacated that part of the north-south alley 20 feet wide, in City Block 503, north of a line five feet north of the north line of the east-west alley therein, reserving, however, an easement for sewer purposes over such portion of former alley to this District, and WHEREAS, The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District is successor in title to said easement, and WHEREAS, the Owner of the subject property has requested this District to vacate such easement together with the sewer therein, and this District has no further need for such easement, or sewer, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The following described sewer easement together with the sewer therein is hereby vacated to wit: That easement reserved to this District by the City of St. Louis by Ordinance No. 51433, adopted July 3, 1962 lying in the former north-south alley in City Block 503 of the City of St. Louis, north of a line five feet north of the north line of the east-west alley therein, which block is bounded by Eleventh, Twelfth, Olive and Pine Streets. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 27, 1968.
