AN ORDINANCE authorizing and directing the Executive
Director to Quit Claim certain real estate in the City of St.
Louis, Missouri, in City Block 3998-D to the City of St. Louis,
Missouri and to execute a quit-claim deed.
WHEREAS, in order to perfect the title to certain real
estate situated in City Block 3998-D in the City of St. Louis,
State of Missouri, it is necessary for the Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to Quit Claim this tract to the City of St.
Louis, Missouri,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OP TRUSTEES
OP THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The District does hereby Remise, Release
and forever Quit-Claim any right, title or interest in or to the
following described real estate, situated in City Block 3998-D of
the City of St. Louis and State of Missouri, described as
follows:
Part of Lot "M" as shown on plat recorded in Surveyor's
Record Book 10, page 122 and in Block 3998-D of the City of St.
Louis, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of property condemned
for a public sewer pumping station known as pumping station No. 1
for River des Peres foul water sewer by Suit No. 23047-D, said
point being 379.91 feet North of the North line of Northrup
Avenue, as measured along the West line of said Lot "M"; thence
North along the West line of said property so condemned, being

also the West line of Lot "M", a distance of 100 feet to a point;
thence East 235 feet, more or less, to a point in the East line
of said Lot "M", said point being 490.940 feet North of the North
line of Northrup Avenue, as measured along the said East line of
Lot "M"; thence South along the East line of said Lot "M" 80 feet
more or less to the North line of McRee Avenue; thence West along
the North line of McRee Avenue 25 feet to the West line of McRee
Avenue thence South along the West line of McRee Avenue, 20 feet
to the South line of properly condemned for pumping station, as
aforesaid thence West along the said South line of property
condemned for pumping station, as aforesaid 215.25 feet to the
point of beginning, being subject to the following easements:
EASEMENT "A": Beginning at a point on the Western line
of Lot "M" as shown on plat recorded in Surveyor's Record Book
10, page 122, said point of beginning being measured 477.06 feet
Northwardly along the Western line of Lot "M" from the Northern
line of Northrup Avenue 60 feet wide thence Northwardly along the
Western line of Lot "M", a distance of 2.85 feet to a point
thence Eastwardly, turning an angle of 87 degrees, 26 minutes 17
seconds to the right, a distance of 39.54 feet to a point
thence in a Southeastern direction, turning an angle of 26
degrees, 05 minutes 28 seconds to the right from the produced
Eastern prolongation of before mentioned line, a distance of
178.18 feet to a point of curve thence continuing in a
Southeastern direction along the arc of a curve to the left

having a radius of 65 feet a distance of 12.02 feet to a point on
the Western edge of McRee Avenue, 50 feet wide; thence
Southwardly along said Western edge, a distance of 17.37 feet to
a point thence Westwardly along the Southern line of property
condemned for a public sewer pumping station, a distance of 11.35
feet to a point thence Northwestwardly along the arc of a curve
to the right having a radius of 85 feet, a distance of 9.41 feet
to a point of tangent thence continuing Northwestwardly along a
line parallel to and 20 feet distant from aforementioned
Southeastern line, a distance of 212.55 feet to the point of
beginning.
EASEMENT "B": Fronting 20 feet on the Northern line of
McRee Avenue, 50 feet wide by a depth Northwardly between
parallel lines of 80.01 feet. Bounded East by the eastern line
of aforementioned Lot "M".
Section Two. The Executive Director is hereby
authorized and directed to execute in behalf of the District a
Deed giving effect to Section One hereof.
