HomeMy Public PortalAbout01843 O R D I N A N C E NO. 1843 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 336 (Arthel Drive) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or im- proved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 336 (Arthel Drive). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 336 (Arthel Drive) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 2 ARTHEL DRIVE Beginning in the northeastern line of U. S. Highway I-255, at the westernmost corner of property conveyed to Arthur H. Knigge and wife by deed recorded in Book 6122, page 523. St. Louis County Recorder's office thence northeastwardly along the northwest line of said Knigge property, 135.1 feet to the northernmost corner of said Knigge property in the southwest line of property conveyed to Carl Alsbach and wife by deed recorded in Book 4258, page 488, said Recorder's office thence northwestwardly along said southwest line, 121.08 feet to the westernmost corner of said Alsbach property, being in a line 283.604 feet southeastwardly from and parallel with the northwestern line of Lot 107 of Carondelet Commons south of River des Peres; thence northeastwardly along said parallel line, 457.80 feet to the westernmost corner of property conveyed to Leroy Trenz and wife by deed recorded in Book 2199, page 43, said Recorder's office; thence southeastwardly along the southwest line of said Trenz property, 237.91 feet to its intersection with the northwestern line of Arthel Drive, 30 feet wide. as established by instrument recorded in Book 1807, page 549, said Recorder's office; thence southeastwardly in a straight line across said Arthel Drive to the point of intersection of the southeastern line of said drive with the southwestern line of property conveyed to Charles M. Schnarre and wife by deed recorded in Book 6327, page 287, said Recorder's office; thence southeastwardly 255 feet along the 3 southwest line of said Schnarre property to its southernmost corner in the northwestern line of Lindbergh Terrace, a subdivision as per plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 59, page 47, St. Louis County Recorder's office; thence southwestwardly along the northwest line of said subdivision, 500 feet more or less to the easternmost corner of property conveyed to the State of Missouri for highway purposes by deed recorded in Book 6070, page 541, said Recorder's office; thence northwestwardly along the northeastern line of U.S. Highway I-244, being on a curve to the left, having a radius of 4,039.83 feet, a distance of 374 feet, more or less, to a point of tangency at Point "A", as described in instrument recorded in Book 6065, page 230, said Recorder's office; thence continuing northwestwardly along the northeastern line of U.S. Highway I-244, a distance of 45.40 feet to the beginning. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 6, 1969.
