AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with G. L. Tarlton
Contracting Company, for the construction of a storm water channel
with inlets in Subdistrict No. 88 (Fountain Creek - Section VII),
with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN
ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the Executive
Director to G. L. Tarlton Contracting Company, as the lowest
responsible bidder, for the construction of a storm water channel
with inlets in Subdistrict No. 88 (Fountain Creek - Section VII)
of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, in an area located
between St. Regis Lane and St. Daniel Lane and east of New
Florissant Road in the City of Florissant, Missouri, pursuant to
bids received and opened on the 10th day of April, 1969 and
formally executed on the 17th day of April, 1969, by said
contractor and by the Executive Director and the Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of the District, in the following form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation of a
contract for sewer construction and the sewers to be constructed
being necessary for the protection of the public health, an
emergency exists within the meaning of the Plan, and this
Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 17, 1969.
