AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Fred M. Luth &
Sons, Inc., for the construction of the Arsenal Interceptor Sewer
to be constructed for the Mississippi River Subdistrict as part of
the Bissell Point System, in Arsenal Street from First Street to
Second Street, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc., as the lowest
responsible bidder, for the construction of the Arsenal
Interceptor Sewer to be constructed for the Mississippi River
Subdistrict as part of the Bissell Point System, of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received
and opened on the 27th day of March 1969 and formally executed on
the 1st day of May, 1969, by said contractor and by the Executive
Director and the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District, in
the following form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the construction
of a contract for sewer construction and the sewers to be
constructed being necessary for the protection of the public
health, an emergency exists within the meaning of the Plan, and
this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 1, 1965.
