AN ORDINANCE establishing a new class of position in the
classified service of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District,
setting out its class title, class code, and class pay grade for
the position of Apprentice Plant Operator, with an emergency
clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN
ST. LOUIS SEVER DISTRICT:
Section One. There is hereby created a new class of position
in the Labor and Trades Group in the classified service of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, as follows:
Class Title Class Code Class Grade
Apprentice Plant Operator 7313 8
Section Two. The immediate need of personnel to qualify as
operators of sewage treatment plants requires the employment of
apprentices without delay in the interest of the public health.
Accordingly, this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 15, 1969.
