HomeMy Public PortalAbout01890 O R D I N A N C E NO. 1890 AN ORDINANCE, amending Section Two of Ordinance No. 1512, adopted July 21, 1966 and Section Two of Ordinance No. 1838, adopted January 8, 1969, and revising the boundaries of Subdistrict No. 303 (Ashby and Clarendon) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. WHEREAS, the Board finds that an additional area can be efficiently served as a part of Subdistrict No. 303 (Ashby and Clarendon) which area included therein is not presently benefitted by improvements in the Subdistrict, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Section Two of Ordinance No. 1512, adopted July 21, 1966 as amended by Ordinance No. 1838, adopted January 8, 1969, is hereby amended by adding to Subdistrict No. 303 (Ashby and Clarendon) an area described as: The eastern one-half of Lot 62 of TOWER VIEW, a subdivision in St. Louis County, Missouri, as per plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 19, page 16, St. Louis County Recorder's office, and more particularly described as: Beginning at a point in the original boundary line of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, such point being the northeast corner of Lot 62 of Tower View, a subdivision of St. Louis County, Missouri according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 19, page 16, of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along the north line of said Lot 62, which is also the south line of Lot 32 of said subdivision, to its intersection with the north-south centerline of said Lot 62; thence southwardly in a straight line along such north-south centerline and its southwardly extension to the south line of Wurdack Avenue (50 feet wide); thence eastwardly along the south line of Wurdack Avenue a distance of approximately fifty (50) feet to its intersection with the original boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; thence northwardly along the original boundary of the District to the point of beginning. Section Two. Section Two of said Ordinance No. 1512 as amended by Ordinance No. 1838, and as hereby amended shall read as follows: "Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 303 (Ashby and Clarendon) shall be as follows: Beginning on the existing boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District at the intersection of the centerline of Ashby Road with the eastern prolongation of the south line of Lot 72 of TOWER VIEW, a subdivision in St. Louis County, Missouri, according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 19, page 16 of the St. Louis County Recorder's office; thence westwardly along said prolongation and along the south lines of Lots 72 through 76 inclusive, of said subdivision to the southwest corner of said Lot 76; thence northwardly along the west line of said Lot 76 to its intersection with the south line of Wurdack Avenue (50 feet wide); thence westwardly along the south line of said Wurdack Avenue a distance of approximately 50 feet to its intersection with the southern prolongation of the north-south centerline of Lot 62 of said Tower View Subdivision; thence northwardly along said prolongation and along said centerline to its intersection with the southern line of Lot 32 of said subdivision; thence westwardly along the south lines of Lots 32, 33 and 34 of said subdivision to its intersection with the north and south centerline of said Lot 34; thence northwardly along said centerline and its prolongation northwardly across Clarendon Avenue, and along the north and south centerline of Lot 13 of said TOWER VIEW Subdivision to the north line of said Lot 13; thence eastwardly along the north line of said subdivision to its intersection with a line parallel with and 185 feet westwardly from, measured at right angles to, the centerline of Ashby Road; thence northwardly along said parallel line, a distance of 195.73 feet; thence eastwardly, at right angles to Ashby Road, 185 feet to the centerline of said road; thence southwardly along the said centerline of Ashby Road to the point of beginning." The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 15, 1969.
