AN ORDINANCE vacating a sewer easement in the City of St.
Louis, Missouri, in City Block 4275.
WHEREAS, at the request of the District the Owner of the
subject property, Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad Company, is
granting this District a satisfactory substitute easement to
accommodate the Mississippi River Subdistrict Foulwater
Interceptors and Interceptor Sewers (Maline to Prairie),
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The following described sewer easement is
hereby vacated, to wit:
Tract No. 1
Commencing at a point in the southerly line of Gimblin Road,
50 feet wide, with the easterly line of Hall Street, 120 feet
wide;
Thence northeasterly along the southerly line of Gimblin Road
a distance of 544.7 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning, said point also being the most northeasterly
corner of a 3.89 acre tract of land conveyed to Dohrn
Transfer Company by the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad
Company by deed dated 9-13-65;
Thence continuing northeasterly along said southerly line of
Gimblin Road a distance of 242.5 feet, more or less, to a
point in the westerly line of Lot G of City Block 4275;
Thence southeasterly along the southwesterly line of Lot G a
distance of 5 feet;
Thence southwesterly, parallel with and 5 feet southeasterly
from the southerly line of Gimblin Road a distance of 251.5
feet, more or less, to a point in the easterly line of said
Dohrn property;
Thence northerly along said Dohrn property line a distance of
6.7 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
Containing an area of 1235 square feet, motor less.
Tract No. 2
Beginning at the intersection of the most northeasterly
corner of Lot G of City Block 4275 with the southerly line of
Gimblin Road, 50 feet wide;
Thence northwesterly along the northeasterly line of Lot G,
if produced, a distance of 10 feet to a point in the
southerly line of Gimblin Road, 30 feet wide;
Thence northeasterly along the southerly line of Gimblin Road
a distance of 480 feet, more or less, to a point;
Thence southwesterly a distance of 481 feet, more or less, to
a point in the easterly line of Lot G;
Thence northwesterly along the easterly line of Lot G a
distance of 10 feet, to the point of beginning.
Containing an area of 4,800 square feet, more or less.
The sewer easement as recorded in Book 8846, Page 255, in the
office of the Recorder in the City of St. Louis, Mo.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 31, 1969
